To put those numbers to the test, I decided to use the tablet as my dedicated work machine over the past week. It feels sturdy to hold and is responsive to taps and strokes, so writing and sketching is definitely enjoyable with it. The Tab P11 Pro undercuts several rival models available from Samsung by offering a weaker processor, the Snapdragon 730G, which is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. We measured a data transfer rate of about 350 Mb/s with our Netgear Nighthawk AX12 reference router.There are spring-loaded pins with four contact elements at the bottom of the case, which can be used for data transfer as well as for charging the optional magnetic keyboard cover. Each of these are constructed of an artificial fiber weave which feels hard-wearing and is easy to clean. The included Snapdragon 730G is perfectly capable of powering most experiences without a hitch, but quickly works up a sweat when a little more is asked of it. Unfortunately, like with the Yoga Tab 11, Lenovo suffers from major weaknesses in everyday use here too: The struggling performance paired with the front-facing camera's FaceUnlock feature, which is not very reliable. Being a tech enthusiast means the half-life of my devices isn’t exactly long, and being the latest hardware is not enough to suffice as the manufacturer and operating system play a minor role – the most important aspect for me is that the device is state-of-the-art.

However, due to the relatively low resolution, the detail reproduction in the photos is not one of the Tab P11 Plus's strengths. Holding the Tab P11 Plus in landscape orientation, the bezel provides my hands with enough grip while preventing them from causing any mistouches and accidental presses on the screen. This quality is echoed throughout the build, with an aluminium chassis that feels just as well made as any Apple tablet. This could potentially result in a better connectivity experience, depending on how and where you use the tablet and if you plan to connect Bluetooth devices.

Lenovo's mid-range tablet is equipped with 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM in our review sample, but combined with the Helio G90T, this leads to a mixed performance and system lags.
