The characters are well thought out and engaging and the storyline is fast paced, thrilling, and fraught with twists and turns that caught me unawares all the way through. It was made into a four-part drama for Channel 5 starring Jill Halfpenny and Owen McDonnell, now available on Netflix UK. He volunteered for the Washington Light Infantry, which participated in the Battle of Fort Sumter on April 12–13. There’s nothing better than reading a suspense novel only to discover that the mystery’s conclusion is something totally shocking and thoroughly grounded in clues the author has been leaving for the reader throughout the novel. I’ve read and enjoyed all of T M Logan’s books and whilst this one was no different I don’t think that it quite matched The Holiday however, I still found it fast paced, intriguing and full of twists and turns.
Thus, Joe’s innocent desire to make their young son happy by paying Mel a surprise visit ensnares him in a frantic quest for answers. From an apparent hacker accessing Joe’s Facebook account to bizarre messages following Joe on social platforms, the ubiquity of social media and its pervasiveness in Joe’s life quickly turns sinister. For those of us who read extensively within the domestic thriller genre, the setup of LIES will feel quite familiar. Not only did he not pay the private investigator; he also forwarded the report exposing him as a liar and criminal to his and Abbie's house.

Her specialist areas including literature, the British Royal Family and knowing all there is to know about the latest TV shows on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and every streaming service out there.Much of LIES develops as we would expect it to: in the fallout of this troubling encounter, Joe discovers that everything he holds dearest in his life might be based on (true to the book’s title! In 'The Catch', Ed senses something dangerous about his soon-to-be son-in-law Ryan during their first meeting. A catchy premise with a promising start - Ed secretly gathering information on Ryan, not caring what Claire and Abbie thought of his suspicions. As Joe fights to prove his innocence, he comes to realize his happily ever after has been built on lies. There’s just no rhyme or reason for the way LIES wraps up; try as I might, I can only find one very tiny clue placed earlier in the story that would in any way allude to this shocking finale.
