I am very pleased I went through this process, and would very much like to try some other jigsaw outs and see what other tricks puzzles have now-a-days. But luckily there’s a solution and a copy of the complete picture in black and white identifying all the individual riddle images if you really need a helping hand too.
Once you have solved the picture and marvelled at all the details you can see, you then have to piece together 101 book titles from the characters and events going on in the library! And eliminating plastic on the outside of the box, as well as inside, gets two thumbs up from me and my gaming group. I also enjoyed doing puzzles during the pandemic lockdowns when the world was too scary and I had watched far too many hours of TV.If you love games and puzzles like we do, I’d recommend Mayhem in the Library and the others in the series. Having solved the other two puzz-ames in the series (Day at the Festival and Night at the Movies), I was ready to get my head into a book……based puzzle!
Are there vast expanses of like colours that make it a war of attrition to finish or are the puzzle so easy that there is no challenge. My only negative is that we don’t have tons of space so had to do the puzzle and take it apart on the same day. Great fun to piece together and actually gives a good post puzzle task of guessing all the book titles. The puzzle doesn't end once it's built, next you need to spot as many hidden artists and movie references as possible! But others will take a while for you to figure out, depending on your knowledge of classic and popular fiction! If you've got an urge to do a puzzle and you’re stuck looking at an empty game shelf, don’t despair. I promise this is not going to spoil your enjoyment of the rest of the jigsaw but it will give you a taste of what is to come.
