About this deal

The book goes into a lot of detail regarding events occurred and relationships formed and how at times it became very difficult to deal with the reality of the job they were doing. As the group are coming out of the meeting an officer from the licensing department thanks the team for their evidence and tells them that they've been able to use the information in their report to shut down The Rock. The success of the novel and the 1993 film led to a 2012 television show set ten years after the events of the original story and ended up running for one season.

Running with The Firm is a disturbing look into the violent lives of football hooligans, the undercover police officer charged with preventing it and the effect it has on the people around them. To celebrate ten years of London's Fashion and Textile Museum - which she founded - she has created a new exhibition, Unseen. The hard-drinking and hard-fighting macho culture (where Saturday's match and Saturday's fight are all that matters) prove irresistible to John and he finds himself slowly becoming one of the thugs he has been sent to entrap. Totally gripping and unputdownable and a 'must read' for anyone who attended football matches during the late 80s. A young, ambitious probationer policeman, James Bannon, was selected for undercover duty with the brief to get in with the gang and find the “generals” behind the football violence. After these three pages it is all downhill with painful repetition, self indulgence and pointless justification for something did not achieve fruition at all as a book. When I was in law school I had a friend he was a top student and this guy was heavily recruited and would go off to visit law firms, and he came back from a trip and he said, “You know, I didn't really feel good about that firm.

All other teams are fictional and are Wapping a neighbouring London based club, Midchester described as a club from Birmingham and Tyneburn who are from the North East. Mitch is married to his high-school sweetheart, Abby McDeere, an elementary school teacher who also attended Western Kentucky University. It maybe could have had a little more edge to it but it is a true story and it’s told like it was - in the end I’d rather have that than something which was obviously made up.We also looked for feedback on the shoe’s overall fit and comfort to ensure testers weren’t sloshing around in flimsy uppers. He introduces you to the hardest thugs from football's most notorious gangs, tells all about the secret and almost comical police operations that were meant to bring them down, and, how once you're on the inside, getting out from the mob proves to be the biggest mission of all.
