Certainly, Holland's Peter coming into contact with the alien costume and it driving him to antisocial, increasingly violent behaviour would be an interesting path to take after No Way Home saw the character struggle with his hunger for vengeance and ended with him totally isolated from his support system – his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) dead, his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya), best pal Ned (Jacob Batalon) and ally Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) having forgotten he ever existed. Also, like always with the MCU Spider-Man, Peter Parker wears multiple suits with some being better than others.
The other option, what with this being a multiverse and all, is that we could meet a different version of disgruntled journalist Eddie Brock, played by an actor other than Tom Hardy. Dafoe was perfectly cast as the villainous Green Goblin; Osborn was a billionaire industrialist who experimented on himself and gained superpowers as his mind was twisted. There were many things to critique about The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but his suit was not one of them, as many fans consider it to be the best live-action Spider-Man suit thus far. Melody's biggest inspiration came from first seeing Zack Snyder's Watchmen in 2009; the film combined with her knowledge of how scenes were done via behind-the-scenes featurettes prior to the film's release made her fall in love with filmmaking. The color scheme and design reminiscent of Miles Morales AKA Ultimate Spider-Man's suit, the white spider logo, even the different web patterns on both the red and black portions help the suit stand out as Tom Holland's distinct suit.
With so many characters appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home, there are a plethora of costumes that help the characters stand out. Instead, No Way Home shows that he didn't fix what wasn't broken with his suit popping straight out of the Sam Raimi trilogy.

And now the latest No Way Home poster has outright confirmed a Green Goblin will appear thanks to a tiny but notable cameo. Now, we finally have a closer look at the costume courtesy of some promo art that's used as a reference for toy and merchandise designers. For many fans, the original 2002 Spider-Man directed by Sam Raimi and starring Tobey Maguire is the best one, and much of that can be attributed to Willem Dafoe's iconic turn as Norman Osborn.His spell (botched by Peter Parker's influence) allows characters from the multiverse to enter his universe. The Goblin discovered Peter Parker was Spider-Man during the course of the film; Osborn attacked Aunt May (Rosemary Harris) and he kidnapped Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) and threw her off the Queensboro Bridge.
