The illustrations are excellent throughout and there is an even balance between indoor and outdoor settings. Whilst this book does stand alone, I suspect it might work even better if used in conjunction with the other book.

Each exercise is illustrated with multiple high quality photographs and a clear explanation both of the exercise and its purpose. This is possibly the most comprehensive and insightful book you will read on suffering and the motivation behind it. Zacchaeus showed he was willing to change by offering half of his belongings to the poor and paying back four times as much to anyone he had cheated. Climbing with tennis balls under both arms to improve footwork, climbing blind, and climbing in pairs are among the ideas. Tony and his wife, Di Taylor, have explored all over North Africa and the Middle East, surviving in many of these countries by living with the enigmatic Bedouin tribes.

A very engaging foreword by Cecilie Skog will ring bells for many climbers who thought they were satisfied with their level of climbing until they realised how much more fun this game we play could be if they did some training.

As is emphasised at the start of the book keeping things fun is key and having tried some of the activities out with my child I was pleased with how she took to them, although many would have been more fun and engaging if she had been climbing with others her age rather than just her dad, but such is the state of things with the pandemic. After speaking this parable, Jesus, with his disciples, left Jericho and went on the way over the mountains toward Jerusalem. More and more people around the world are discovering how great climbing is, both indoors and outdoors.I expected there to be a lot more attention paid to technique in the book, especially since climbing is such a technique-heavy sport. This is a very substantial book on the technical, physical and mental tactics to become a better climber. Tony rose to fame in 1965 as one of a group of young climbers who made the first British ascent of Norway’s Troll Wall; a climb described by Joe Brown as, ‘One of the greatest ever achievements by British rock climbers’. From my training at home on my fingerboard I'm seeing benefits to paying more attention to the details following reading. Jesus’ final comment highlights that although he has brought salvation for all people, those who are sinners are most urgently in need of this message.

The authors have plenty of credentials to help, as climbers, coaches and physiotherapist, and the exercises are easy to understand and accessible. All system accessories should be sized according to your system requirements to ensure your electrical system is safe, functional and cost effective. Short summaries accompany many of the wordier explanations, so that you can check how many reps "at a glance". Pretty wise words – training is not exclusively about obsessive preparation by obsessive athletes for the climbing World Cup and ticking the highest grades. There’s plenty of clear photos to show exactly what’s being explained, and the guide does a really good job of catering for both beginner climbers and also covering more advanced techniques.

There’s a massive amount of information covered, but it’s split into manageable sections and would be easy to quickly dip into if you just want a bit of structure or focus before starting a training session. Overall a great book, although as other reviewers have said - important to note that it’s a companion to The Climbing Bible. HERE WAS LIVING in Jericho at the time a rich man named Zacchaeus, and he was chief among the publicans. The only thing not covered is nutrition, although there are plenty of specific guides already available on that and it’s probably too big a topic to slot into this as well as everything else.
