About this deal

A good 15x70 or 16x70 modern multicoated binocular is much better, but will almost certainly not resolve as well unless very expensive.

The Rotel was compact taking up 2U on the rack, and the Echo Dot + DDRC-24 hung out on top of some other components. There are only small seagull shapes right at the edge of the field with Sirius, but this again is strange as the colours in this Seagull shaped edge of field star image are somewhat rainbow coloured. Normally this would be setup by the AV installer as part of a whole-home control system in a rack full of Crestron gear, programmed by the installer so the home owner can easily control anything in the house. And because they are relatively light, they work wonderfully well with my cheap fluid-pan head tripod, which my other heavier binoculars did not( i. Due to the cost of replacing all of the output board relays with 12V relays they were removed and replaced with 20ga copper wires.

The code starts off just waiting for 5 seconds, then reads the current status of the amp and then “presses” the override button by connecting it to ground briefly.I can hand-hold my pair of 16X60s for a few minutes of satisfying viewing, something I can't do with 20X binoculars. Given that I have two different zones running off the Crestron amp, it will always have a section powered up that is not actually in use. You might phone the company to make sure that the two RCA ends connect one to the hot pin and one to the cold pin of the XLR. When I worked at the Booth Museum, the stuffed specimens of the winter and summer for forms of the Hare and Stout where very popularly used in teaching camouflage.

The XMC-1 controls the power to the Crestron and tells it to turn on or off as needed which is fantastic for home theater use… but less than ideal for living room use. I also looked at the full moon when it was rising, (and not so bright), and the view was way better then at 12x power !edge would be both the Fujinon FMT-SX 7x50's and Adlerblick 7x50's and that difference would be quite marginal. I finally just removed the surround channels from the equation, and confirmed that the left + center + right speakers were dead silent — no interference to be had. But again… you need a Crestron master controller to do that, which I do not have nor want just for this purpose. The official spec requires 24 volts DC power, but luckily it was perfectly happy with only 19 volts — which was great since I have a large collection of old laptop power supplies.

My second session with the 16x60's was at 2:30am till 3:05 am and I brought out the tripod this time for a steadier view. To connect the switch I de-soldered the ground pin from the left RCA input and put the ground connection in the same circuit board hold with it and re-soldered it and connected the other end to the switch. They are big and heavy amps - so before I break my back hauling them upstairs to my apartment, just wanted to see if they could be used as a regular amp rather than integrated in a Crestron system.

Looking through the big ends first ( which shows any internal faults, including muck, mold and fingerprints ), I saw that one of the prisms was shattered! And what I used for the 24V input is an old 24V power adapter, cut off the end and connected the + to the 24V and the - to the Ground of the Crestnet input, then pressed the bypass button. The white jumper wire on the left connects the square capacitor output to the inverted input of the bridged amp. Each transformer connects to four of the output modules, so you can split the amp into two 8-channels amps quite easily. It must be something to do with the eye relief, but I can't seem to just pick them up and use them at the same setting as the last time.
