On the face of the ear cup, you’ll get a play and pause button under the DALI logo, and volume controls around that main button. You can see the curve follows the Focal pretty closely in the highs, leading to a neutral-ish tonality that is perhaps a hair bright. However, I have pretty large ears so the round cups don't make a complete seal so once in a while I find myself adjusting them here and there on the ear.

Let's just say that the proof is in the pudding and that can be proven by just playing jazz, vocals or acoustic music side by side. The focus is on honest sound reproduction, behind which functionality consciously takes a back seat. I had read that noise cancellation isn't their strong suit, but actually I can't hear anything in the house when they're on and it seems fine to me. These headphones just play the bass so well, all the details like the attack, speed, depth and control are there - its not super accurate like serious studio headphones but it's really good for what it is.
