I have a lot of yellow to my skin especially in the summertime when the sun brings out the golden tones in my skin and, out of the first three shades, Creamy Natural seemed to be the most neutral.
There are 12 different shades and they are definitely geared more towards light to medium skin tones. Similar to other microsphere powders, it can scatter the light to give products a soft focus or blurring effect. While my skin is better than it has been in a few months, I do still have quite a bit of discolouration and spots and this has pretty impressive coverage! Obviously, I have not tried wearing this foundation for 24 hours, but it does last an extremely long amount of time and looks better throughout the day.
It honestly is everything I want in a foundation, feels so luxurious, and makes my skin look and feel so gorgeous. The foundation claims to be a "medium coverage" which seems correct since I only needed one layer and I only used setting powder under my eyes for brightening.Throughout the day, my skin does start to look a bit more dewy, so I do have to reapply some powder about 3 pm. I do have combo to oily skin but I DO NOT find that this makes me look like a grease ball, even after a 10 hour work day. I think 209 would have been a better match but that’s okay this one actually works fine and will be close to my perfect shade in winter.
But, my skin still looks very natural and perfect otherwise at the end of the day, so I’ve been loving this foundation! Saying that, it still looks and feels beautiful on my skin, and is one of the better foundations I have tried. I did find that the Pro-Matte is a bit more matte than I usually like, so with a little bit of added shimmer mixed into the foundation, I was happy with it. But the second time I wore it I was disappointed because it looked a lot more matte and got even more so as time passed. They are both available in 12 shades, but the shade names and numbers do not correspond between the two lines, which can make it confusing if you want to try both products.I found it easy to cover any redness or spots, I would say that this definitely has a medium coverage but it is buildable if you need the extra coverage.
