The collection of much-loved Old J Spiced Rums have expanded their portfolio with a fruity, summery pineapple-infused flavour, just in time to satisfy summer demand. Admiral Vernon's Old J is a rum-based spiced spirit drink, and this particular edition is infused with 11 flavours, including pineapple and vanilla for a tantalisingly tropical delight! Award tasting note: "“On the rocks with a squeeze of lime, you've got yourself a nice little drink with minimal effort. However, Old J brings Vernon´s concept into the 21st Century by using the finest Caribbean Rum combined with our secret blend of spices, sugar, vanilla and Persian lime. Interesting perspectives from other posters here, two saying it's too strong a flavour and someone else saying they like it.

Indeed immediately hit with pineapple but directly overshadowed by banana, slight alcohol tingle which is surprising as it is 35%, perhaps some faint orange but I can't be sure of that. Nobody wants to wait 3-5 working days for their heavenly Rum to arrive and pay five quid for the pleasure. They have taken there original recipe and kept the 11 flavours in the original spiced rum and added an infusion of pineapple, for a whole new taste. A tropical taste, the pineapple-infused spiced rum, beautifully balanced with the crisp freshness of pineapple combined with the smooth vanilla notes that Old J is best known for.
