About this deal
I am a TV and Broadcast engineer on my day to day work and I usually find myself in need of a variety of tools at hand that are small in size - and can't always carry a toolbox with me. The knifeless version takes the excellence of the original tool and exchanges the knife for a pair of scissors so you can have all the functionality of the Rebar and still carry it any area where a knife blade is not permitted.
I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter whether a multitool is knifeless or not because someone will still want to take it away from you anyways. This is one of the main reasons why we end up with all these laws and restrictions that are inconsistent and don't make any sense. The Every Day Carry Leatherman Rebar is perfect for environments and job sites that need a handy set of tools, yet don't allow for knife blades.
The only other full size knife less multi tool on the market (that I know of) is a Blade less mp600. The Knifeless Rebar is perfect for environments and job sites that need a handy set of tools, yet don’t allow for knife blades.
I love knives, but always have one or two on me even when I carry a multitool, unless it's a Skeletool CX which does a great job of replacing a folder.New from Leatherman – The Rebar knifeless is perfect for environments and job sites that need a handy set of tools yet dont allow for knife blades.
