My children are not interested in Migo and Ali (the stoires of the prohpets are compelling alone so my kids don't need Migo and Ali to draw them in or ponder on the stories and the lessons). This popular go-to resource is a family Islamic parenting tool that will ensure your child is immersed, learning some of the basic concepts in Islam.

In the same story it's also a bit tricky to explain that Prophet Yusuf's (as) brothers were jealous of him and wanted to kill him. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.

DVDs, CDs, electronics, VHS tapes, audiotapes, or games and puzzles must be unopened and in their original saleable plastic wrapped boxes. She has picked up some of the names of the prophets though which is great and can remember some of the things in the story so it's a good book to have even at her age and work towards being able to understand in the future. Overall a good effort for a children's book, pitched at children, creates engagement and interest, and recommended for a children's bookshelf as there isn't anything that comes close to this for children that I've come across yet. Packed with beautiful full-page illustrations and fun text, it is very easy to read, and children from ages 3 and up will be sure to enjoy the book.

Our team is made up of book lovers who are dedicated to sourcing and providing the best books for kids. Planet Omar was first released under the title The Muslims, and won the Little Rebels Award 2018, as well as being shortlisted for the UKLA Award and nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal.Conveying the pure and peaceful message of Islam to help remove misconceptions about Islam, creating positive dialogue and helping build a tolerant and cohesive society. Great book worth the money x Good book I would say for children 5 years plus it is better, but even for the slightly younger it is informing they might just find it hard to follow.

We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child. Migo and Ali is a book written by Zanib Mian who has carefully written stories of 17 prophets (peace be upon them all) in engaging child-friendly language. For example, (only ocassionally) the author sometimes talks at the children rather than allow children to have thoughts occur themselves. We see more of the light-hearted, humourous dialogue between Migo and Ali, which is what these characters are renowned for! Rather than the traditional list of questions and asking the children to answer them, the question time is a dialogue between Migo and Ali.

Do you feel frustrated because each year, the Hajj passes by without your child truly appreciating the blessings of this season? I think the book does a great job of telling complex ideas in simple easy to understand words and that is amazing!
